Monday, the first day of the work week, they called again from the Internet service company, at least they let me know that they are processing to install the service this week, on Wednesday, or if possible tomorrow, Tuesday. It's annoying that something that should take a maximum of 15 days is already 24 days old and still hasn't been resolved. In the afternoon we called the promoter with whom I had made the contract, and at the end of the afternoon they called us again, but from another office in Caracas. Anyway, I hope we really do have cable Internet service in our home soon.

Lunes, primer día de la semana laboral, volvieron a llamar de la compañía de servicio de Internet, por lo menos me avisan que se está tramitando para que instalen el servicio esta semana, el miércoles o de ser posible mañana, martes. Es molesto que una cosa que, debería tardar un máximo aproximado de 15 días, ya tenga 24 días y aún no se resuelve. Ya en la tarde llamamos nosotros a la promotora con la que había hecho yo el contrato, y al final de la tarde nos llamaron de nuevo, pero desde otra oficina en Caracas. Como sea, deseo que de verdad tengamos pronto en casa un servicio de Internet por cable.

Yo me encontré con que era interesante tomar una cosa de #cocina para comentar, después de todo, me gustan los helados. En particular, este tipo de helado que se proponen celebrar el día de hoy, es una preparación que se popularizó en Estados Unidos como un #postre para el calor del verano, y por ahora no está muy extendido en otras partes del mundo, pero puede ser que en unos pocos años si sea parte oficial del calendario de celebraciones del calendario.

It actually looks a lot like the kind of ice cream that would be celebrating its day today. After all, combining an orange ice cream topping with a shortbread interior, the combination is quite good and refreshing, with just the right touch of tartness, sweetness, and creaminess.
That may sound like an attempt at product positioning, or covert ads (personal smile), but I can assure you that I am not in any marketing campaign of this company. What happens is that that ice cream is part of my #memories of the 80s and 90s of the last century, so when I saw today's celebration, I remembered that old ice cream. One thing led to another, and in the end, all of this was what motivated me to choose that event to comment on in my record of the day.

En la actualidad, con la mayor conciencia sobre la necesidad de cuidar la ingesta de azúcar y las preocupaciones dietéticas, hay versiones de este tipo de helados para prepararlos en casa, sin necesidad de azúcar refinada (generalmente usando miel o Estevia), sustituyendo la base láctea animal por leche de coco, puré de banana, o yogur; y también otros muchos cambios o sustituciones de ingredientes, buscando hacer un platillo atractivo, pero lo más saludable posible para cada persona que lo consuma.
