Good day Steemians! l would like to share new ideas and learnings that really worked for me as a young traveler/student. This pouch that I will show you packs most everything that I surely need when I travel or in school life and mostly in between the situation! My mantra for this pouch is "You'll have it if you had just prepared for it".
Essentials
1. Alcohol
Alcohol is a must in all places. If you are just tired to get up and go to the sink or there is just no available water for you to wash your feet or hands. It is also handy and you can choose an alcohol which suits your skin type to avoid discomfort!
2. Toiletries
I always have these and I am not ashamed to bring toiletries even if I am just going to school. It was very useful when we had our theater pay and part of our costume is to be painted with brown paint that was so sticky the whole show. Luckily, we had a shower room in our school so we were able to wash ourselves fully which was very refreshing and saved ourselves from disgrace going home with paint all over our body. In that washing session, the lotion, soap and shampoo that I got from hotels were very useful on those times! I also have toothbrush and deodorant on the pouch just in case things will get messy in the future!
3. Sanitary Pads and Pantyliners
As a girl, and someone who doesn't count the days when she'll have her period. This is my best defense against the tide!! hehe! I always have to have this since its given that I should and its promissory that I should! Also, if I were not able to use it, there are other girls whom experience the worst situation when there's no pad available! Girls have to always got each other's back no matter what!
4. Comb
I cannot exand this further! We'll always need this in good and bad hair days!
#5. Powder #
This baby powder is useful when I want to freshen up my back and face and to avoid
being sweaty all day! There are also powders (baby powder) that are small in size fit for
a pouch like mine!
#6. Extra Ties #
You can never go wrong on having extra hair ties for yourself! I know, we always
loose the one we uses so much and there's nothing wrong with that, if you'll just
have back-ups!
7. Plastic Bag
So here's the thing about plastic bag. When I was younger, if we had long trips on a bus or car, I always vomit. There are many times I vomited my pants, hair, jacket and everything I can find to just cover up the "mess" that I made. Luckily today, It was quite controlled and the use of plastic bag will be for the wet clothes from swimming so that I can bring it at home "safely" hehe!!
