Friday Poets, Round 9
It's Friday and the start of something good: #poetryweekend. Tomorrow is #haikusaturday and Sunday will bring on the return of the dead with #deadpoems.
But today is #fridaypoets where we glue our hands to the keyboard ... don't glue your fingers; just your palms, it's hard to type that way ... and chornicle lives we wish we were having or lives we wish others weren't ... in verse.
Hey ... it beats standing in line at some pretentious club, talking about work-out routines and taking group-selfies to show how much fun you are having and then face-tuning all the faces, except of that one girl you totally hate ... oh yeah, she doesn't deserve to look like a blurry kewpie doll. The world can see her and all her totally realistic hag-lines. That will teach her for following you and then unfollowing you, once your followed her on face-toon-a-gram.
