I am excited to be the guest speaker at the Satori Meeting this month sharing this presentation on Friday the 9th and wanted to remind everyone that if you're in Texas you can personally attend and if not, it will be recorded and I will likely release it in a few parts here on the blockchain.
I am titling this presentation "Crypto Cowboy" because I have many characteristics that emulate that. It also goes well with "Navigating The Wild Wild West Of The Crypto World", because the crypto world is a lot like the wild Wild West in the sense that it is a new frontier, there is very little regulation or infrastructure, or that much history/data to go on as to how this all works. Plus on top of that, it is changing very quickly and there is in truth a lot of danger/risk involved.

This presentation will be tailored to the person not yet in the crypto world who has heard about it, is interested in it, but is too nervous, scared, or just unsure to get involved.
I am well aware of how difficult it is for people to get involved, let alone trust in something they do not understand. I am also well aware that the whole blockchain/cryptocurrency world is a whole new world, operating in a much different way than most are used to and is quite frankly very volatile.
This makes it even more scary/difficult to get involved! On top of this, because it's relatively new and there is not that much really accessible and practical information out there, most people are just continuing on in the bubble they are used to.
With all that being said, I have first hand experience of being heavily involved every day for 2 years in the blockchain/crypto world. Not as a developer, but as an every day user and investor. Because I am a user and investor I have real experience, lots of knowledge and thankfully great success to share - my portfolio worth hundreds of thousands of dollars speaks for itself! Because I am not a developer and communication is one of my specialties, I am in a great position to help people understand in ways they can relate to, that are practical to them.
I foresee blockchain technology being not only a beneficial development for the world, but the future of many of the most influential parts of our lives.
There is great potential for life improvement utilizing blockchain and crypto technologies/opportunities for almost everyone. I want to not only help accelerate the further integration of these technologies in the world, but to also give people the tools to utilize them for improving their own individual and family lives.
There are many benefits, yet there are also many dangers. While it is impossible to prevent all risk, that is just the way life works - not just with cryptos. I and others are aware of many precautions, "rules" or general practices to highly increase safety and greatly reduce the risk/danger.
I believe that the opportunities far outweigh the risks when one has the proper mental posture, knowledge, and tools.
My main goal for this presentation will be to describe in practical and relevant ways:
- What is a blockchain
- What is cryptocurrency
- How can you utilize them practically in your life
- What are the risks
- How to mitigate those risks
- STEEM
I will not be giving any investment advise, simply educating people and providing them with the opportunity to get on the forefront of this rapidly expanding world and the many benefits of it.
I will of course dedicate a whole section to Steem as I believe it is currently the most dynamic, efficient, practical, usable, and best way to get into the blockchain/crypto world.
I am excited and committed to helping educate people and helping them learn to use tools for success in the new world, or in this sense the Wild Wild West!
