Los Boliches is a small town fifteen minutes from Banelmadena. A friend had an appointment with his doctor, and I thought I would tack along and see what the place is like.
The Los Boliches is not as well known as the other towns. Still, they must have their own attractions or places of interest. But it was a last minute decision to go to Los Boliches, so I didn't do my homework. I just had a walk along the beach.
The beach is part of the Costa del Sol, and is supposedly only 1.1 km long. As with any town along the Costa del Sol it depends heavily on the summer months when tourists, and holiday makers flocked to the Costa del Sol for the sun and sea.
Also, in character with any place along the Costa del Sol, there is the beach promenade with the hotels and apartments, shops and restaurants, on one side, and beach chairs and umbrellas and also a few eateries, on the other. I guess this will the scene for all the towns and beaches on the Costa del Sol.
Hotels and apartments, shops and restaruants on one side of the promenade.
The beach on the other.
The beach umbrellas on this section of the beach look very new.
I was trying to show how the beach join up with the other beaches on the Costa del Sol till the lower right hand corner in the picture - and this is only part of the Costa del Sol.
The promenade looks new and clean. I was there in early June, so, the place was not busy at all.
Restaurants on the beach front.
Sand sculptures. There are quite a few of sand sculptors around. Some of their works are very impressive.
And if your legs are too wobbly to carry you about, you can rent a horse carriage, to take you around.
