Tandoori Restaurant

There are a few Indian Restaurants in Benalmadena too. But somehow, it is Indian / Mexican restaurant. They all serve both Indian and Mexican food. Very curious. My guess is that the spices and products of these two cuisines are similar and it make sense to try and capture the clientele for Indian cuisine, and Mexican cuisine. Anyone knows? please enlighten me.

The Indian restaurant I went to in Benalmadena was called Indian / Mexican Restaurant Tandoori Grill. It came highly recommended.

Poppadums – served with mint sauce, chutney, and pickles. Almost forgot to take picture.

When the main course arrived, I forgot to take pictures again, since I do not have the habit of taking pictures of my food before I eat them. I remember in time to snap a pic of this. I will never be a successful food blogger.

Lovely curry vegetables, Lamb Roganjosh, and Biryani. You can choose the degree of spiciness. Medium spicy is good for me.

The food was excellent, very nice indeed. The curry vegetable was nice. The lamb was nice and tender, the sauce rich and lovely. The rice, the naan – all very nice. I really enjoyed that. Now when I think of Indian food, I will always compare them with this restaurant.
