What a day that was!
A sunny Sunday began and my sister came for some morning coffee on the balcony. The weather was way too good not to take advantage of it, so @trumpman, my sister and Hera got in the car and drove for a village up in the mountains. A friend had told us about a beautiful path in the woods called the "Path of Love", so we had to explore it.
Once we reached the village, @trumpman asked a local man for directions and he once he showed us which way to go he told us that their grandparents would have this place as a meeting point for their romantic rendez-vous years and years ago.
With Hera on her leash around her neck and my Nikon on its strap around my neck we set off on a stroll in the woods where winter and spring were meeting.
The ever green moss was decorating trees and stones...
Would you like to have some water, stranger?
The path is long, sit down and rest if you feel like it.
Can you hear that? It's the stream. The waters are running, in a hurry to meet with the sea.
We're surrounded by trees!
Are they attacking us?
Or are they just here to protect us?
And safely around us they gather
A warm embrace, just like a mother
What is Hera looking for? Pixies and trolls and fairies and elves?
Her nose in the snow, sniffing in and breathing out
I'm sure the fairies live here! I'll surely dig them out!!
I mean, if they don't live in this magical place, where else would they live?
It was a lovely and tiring day today. We had fun, we walked, we got high on natural beauty and definitely recharged those low batteries. A new week is beginning in a few hours, but weeks go by more easily when you have your people and the next weekend with them to hope for!
Wishing you all a lovely week!
