After a 10hr drive with a couple of stops we finally reached our destination at 3:00pm last afternoon. It is still pretty warm here and we were pretty lucky to get some welcome coffee from our hostess, who also sat with us for a long chat.
Katja and Robin got their property 4 years ago, just before the pandemics. They've been working on it since then to arrange if for off-grid living and I have to say they've done an impressive job.
After the resting time, it was time to set up the camper.
I had not used the camper for quite a while and have to admit it took us a while to figure out how to set it properly.
It was starting to get dark and a bunch of flies and mosquitoes appeared, so we decided to go to the village small mini market to get some anti mosquitos spray. The tiny shop was lovely and had anything you may need. We also had chat with the owner trying to practice my portuguese.
We then prepared a quick dinner on the kitchen they offered to use. So we could forget about setting up ours.
After a nice chilly night I woke up ready for a great new day having my morning coffee.
