The Holy Spirit is a divine person - powerful and holy. He dwells in us to help us at all times. His presence and His help are guaranteed. It is essential to have a good knowledge of Him because those who know Him are also known by men. Those who have a knowledge and encounter with Him are celebrated. You hear His voice to become a voice. The Holy Spirit Is the spirit of God and He is the mysterious 'third person of the trinity through whom God acts; reveals His will, empowers individuals and discloses His personal presence". He empowered Christ by anointing Him beyond measures which enabled Jesus to fulfill His ministry. So, we come to see that the Holy Spirit is what helps believers to fulfill destinies. Without His presence, confusion may set it in one's life. The Holy Spirit gives gifts to people for several reasons which include protection, evangelism, perfecting the saints, etc - the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We need His help more than we need other people's help. We need His counsel and guidance more than a we need others. He is closer to us than the clothes we put on. He is our helper, to ignore His help is to be helpless.
WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
The Holy Spirit is not an attitude, a force, a feeling, an atmosphere neither is it a dove as many people believe. The Holy Spirit Is a person, he talks, thinks, plans and is incredibly brilliant and articulate. He can also be grieved, offended and withdrawn. He cannot be what He created rather than he can manifest in various symbols like fire, water, dove etc which gives us the picture of certain qualities He possesses as a way of describing His activities. He is the voice of the God head; he speaks, directs and teaches.
Although some celebrate His presence and his atmosphere, many people have failed to understand that the Holy Spirit is a person. His presence is evident in His person. When you do not know this, you cannot relate with Him on personal terms.
The Holy is the third person in the Trinity, God the Father is in heaven; God the Son is also in heaven while God the Holy Spirit Is with us now. We are actually in the dispensation of the Holy Spirit; God gave the Holy Spirit for us make profit. He is omnipresent and that means He is everywhere at the same time. There is no place that the Holy Spirit cannot be found. He has the power to be everywhere at the same time. He is omniscient so he knows all things. It is the nature of the Holy Spirit to know all things. He has been right there from the creation. He is the life of God in us so he dwells in you as a believer.
The Holy Spirit is our counselor, helper, strength and friend. Christianity without Him is frustration. He is one that convicts and draws men to Christ. He teaches us all things and reveals the meaning and potency of God's word. He makes us know the things that freely belong to us in redemption. Your christian experience will be transformed when you recognize the Holy Spirit as a person with a presence.
When you are born again, the LORD resides in you through the presence of the Holy Spirit in you. The presence of the Holy Spirit is very important in every man's life. Unlock his presence and enjoy directions in life.
