As shown here, I greatly enjoy silver ingots. But, a big part of the reason why I found this platform is because of cryptocurrency. Like many other investors. I found this market right before it's peak in December of 2017. I took a large step in and felt the swift kick in the ass. It was a great lesson learned. .
I can say with all honesty. I have held onto 80% of my original purchases. I do believe the long term play is best with this market. Since the market dumped quickly after my investment. I had to come up with a plan that will help me stay in and play during the bear market.
My go to was mining and staking. The market constantly dropping showed me I needed to get in somewhere and accumulate coins. Coins that I could put away and wait for the market to resume. That is exactly what I did.
After some research I found myself accumulating the following coins. Steem, Neo, Smartcash, and Bitcoin Confidential. It has been over one year staking/mining the coins listed above. The financial gains have yet to pay off. But, the accumulation has been amazing. If and when the alt season comes back around. I will be ready!!!
Steem- Through Steem Deligation, upvoting, and curation rewards.
Neo- Holding NEO in the desktop wallet yields GAS and a several couple other NEO tokens.
Smartcash- I have created a masternode with my holdings. This yields daily payouts as well as a monthly reward. The monthly reward is a percentage of your total holdings.
Bitcoin Confidential- Smartcash did an airdrop that offered a ratio BTCC:SMART. Once I claimed my coins I started staking them in the cold storage wallet.
This certainly took time and study to set up. However, I do believe this is a huge advantage that is not used enough. Sometimes hard work and new ideas can be scary to individuals. That is a factor that holds people back from the true potential.
