With the heavy rain continuing to fall, Cot and Silvertop we’re getting their indoor steps today!😻

Yep……. that’s what Silvertop was having today Lol!😮
My projects are outside for now, and with this downpour continuing, hiking was a bust !😲
I needed a short section of wire for the gate lights I am working on………..
Normally I would wait for Liz to need a trip to town, and then just swing by Home Depot, but there are just so many indoor steps that Cot will pace with dad Lol!🤣😻

I was curious about possible flooding!
I took the route by Swift Creek to check things out.
This is what I saw………………
This is one of the hiking trails that I used to hike several years ago. It is now barricaded with a danger unsafe sign at the trail head.
You can see the creek is raging!😮
It has a ways to go before it overflows the bank, but the rain has not slowed down at all .
There is a tremendous amount of water coming down off Sumas mountain, and the Cascade Mountains in general!
The last photo, is a house that is on the banks of swift creek. Last year a torrent of water carried rocks and gravel, and mud, into this home, it was condemned and still sits as it was last year…………..
Tomorrow’s forecast looks a little bit better………….maybe cloudy.😅
