Description from Strava:
I had not run since the races I did last weekend. I felt I had overdone it and needed some recovery time. I still did a fair bit of walking. I got the train to Portsmouth on Tuesday and had my trip into London for Barcamp yesterday. I am logging some of those walks on Strava as it goes towards the company MOVEmber charity effort.

I thought I would try a gentle run today and see how it felt. With the loop around Fairfield and Stotfold I can add distance if I want. It did not actually feel too bad, but I kept the pace easy.

It is very autumnal around here how as the trees change colour and drop their leaves. That can make it slippery in places, but I was okay. I took a shorter loop through Fairfield than I normally would. I saw a few other runners around there.

Coming out of Stotfold I saw my blind friend walking her dog. I did not realise she went so far. I snapped a picture of a house that looks interesting. I suspect it is pretty old, but there are a lot of new homes going up around there. Next door is the Saunders depot for their recovery trucks. They have another yard in the village.

The rest of the run was fine, but I was feeling my hip a little. I have a few chores to do and a band practice with some fellow Hivers this afternoon. It is one of those busy weekends.

Run free and stay well!
