Description from Strava:
Now the kids have finished school for the summer there are some routes I can run without hitting crowds. I had not done the one out to Stotfold for a while due to that. This is a fairly flat run, so I added some 'fartlek' sprints.

The weather was nice, but a little humid, so I was very sweaty. I did not stop at the Stotfold outdoor gym this time. There were a load of men queuing that the surgery. Maybe they need to in order to get seen. It can be hard to get an appointment, but that's what happens when the government runs down the health service.

My pace was not too bad today. My hip was a little sore, but bearable. I am seeing the physio again today.

As usual I took the long way coming back. The allotments seem to be flourishing, but they have had a lot of rain lately.

The photo is of the huge hole that has been dug by the new junction. I think this is to help reduce flooding as it can catch the water that flows off the fields. We shall see. For now it is dry. Maybe it will encourage some wildlife eventually. We have plenty of insect life in the garden now and I have been picking berries. I had blackberries and raspberries with my cereal after the run. We need to embrace nature rather than conquering it.

Run free.
