2 days left?!?

Hello everyone, today I was looking at my agenda at work and suddenly I thought: wow, it's already nearly 31st of August which means we should be getting really close to the WOO game launch. @bookerman once said in the discord that the game would launch on the 31st of August. As WOO champions are already testing for over a week, I think it should be possible to have the game launch ready at the end of the month.
Ofcourse until the moment that an official announcement is made, nothing is 100% sure though. So I'll be patiently waiting.

Am I ready?

I'll never know it for sure, only when the actual game launches, I'll see it if I'm ready or not. In terms of wrestlers / managers, I think that I should be good. Got nearly enough cards to max out everything and for the cards I still lack some copies, I'll just open some more packs. The only exception is Perry Saturn, I wasn't around when the Perry sale happened and couldn't manage to snipe some cheap copies. I'll see how hard I'll miss that card.

In terms of $WOO, I think I should be fine as well. Got some liquid to build out a couple of cities and have a decent chunk staked for later on.

My biggest issue will be owning enough decent cities. Will try to buy some packs every now and than. Last week I got 2 extra of which one is a 7*. Will see how it plays out.

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The launch for the game is aimed to be in Q3 of 2023. To be able to launch, they already sold out 60k WOOalpha packs through various sales through 2022. Their WOOAlpha general sale sold out in 99seconds! Besides the wrestlers and managers which could been found in the card packs, they also need cities (often called land plots, but in WOO, we talk about cities).
