WOO & HIVE @ BREATHE in Las Vegas

Hello everyone, today @bookerman showed us some pictures of him, together with @crimsonclad and @munchiesmcgee, all part of the @wrestorgonline team in Las Vegas, at the BREATHE convention in Las Vegas. They won't be the only persons representing Hive. As they go there together with a lot of different speakers of Hive, to name a couple: @aggroed of @splinterlands, @jarvie of @peakd, @theycallmedan, @khaleelkazi of @leofinance and plenty more. Here are a couple of pictures Bookerman shared in the WOO discord. I asked him if I could use them for an article and it was fine.

Besides all those known people of Hive who are on the convention, there are also some partners of Wrestling Organization Online. I'll first tell a bit more about the partners of Wrestling Organization Online. They intend to make the wrestling industry a better space, as wrestlers are often having a hard time, their health is suffering and as they are independents, financially it's not that easy neither. So WOO is trying to partner up to help those (retired) wrestlers. So far, they have partnered with Perry Saturn, Raven, Sonny Onnoo and Terri Runnels. WOO took both Perry Saturn and Sonny Onnoo with them to the BREATH convention!

Link with the real world

I think it's important for cryptoprojects, to have a link with the 'physical world' as it gives some credibility to a project. As WOO already has those links with real wrestlers / managers, this gives some more credibility to a project in my opinion. Besides the credibility, it happens as well that people on such a convention recognize onze of those partners and want to have a talk about WOO or Hive. So in my opinion it's a double win to have these partners at such a convention. Who doesn't want to have a picture with the inventor of the selfies, Sonny Onnoo himself?

Attracting people from outside Hive

Another important aspect is that at the convention, a lot of different people will be present. So it's an opportunity aswell to spread the word about hive in general while talking about WOO. This way new people can discover WOO and Hive. Usually projects on Hive are phishing in the same pool, the people who are already on Hive. It's important to grow the Hive network, so more people get to know the different projects which are happening on Hive and yes, there are plenty!

Getting new insights

When you're at such a convention with all of the top players in the blockchain space, it's alwayq a good idea to network to spread out the word on one hand but on the other hand to listen to other people aswell. So we could get some new ideas about how we could improve WOO and hive even more. As well as staying up-to-date with the latest trends.

I'm glad that all those people are able to be present and promote WOO and Hive further, to connect and learn about the crypto-space. Thank you and keep up the good work!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The launch for the game is aimed to be in Q3 of 2023. To be able to launch, they already sold out 60k WOOalpha packs through various sales through 2022. Their WOOAlpha general sale sold out in 99seconds! Besides the wrestlers and managers which could been found in the card packs, they also need cities (often called land plots, but in WOO, we talk about cities).
