Popes Island Marina
Good Morning I wish you all a good day
Recently I shared a couple of posts of a Replica ship that visited New Bedford, to see it I had to go to Popes Island Marina, which I have walked by many a time, but have never been out on the Marina, as in the early morning when I mostly go there the gates to the marina are locked.
But when I visited the Replica ship when it was docked at the Marina, it was a good chance for me to get some shots of the Marina also.
To enter the marina, which is fenced off I passed through a gate and approached the building shown here

Walking further out on the pier, well for those into boating and marinas, is it a pier or a dock, I kind of thought the docks are where the ships are docked and tied up are the docks, and this raised walkway looks kind of like a pier to me

It was such a nice day and very hot I will admit I was sweating a lot as I was walking out there and glad I had remembered to put on sunscreen
