Hola queridos amigos, un placer para mí escribir por esta hermosa comunidad y lo hago uniéndome al tema de @talentos de esta semana, titulado momentos que inspiran, por eso hoy quiero hablar un poco de esos maravillosos recuerdos que nos inspiran y que aunque haya pasado mucho tiempo desde que los vivimos, llenan nuestra vida de luz, color y mucha energía, recordar esos momentos es como volver a revivir esa historia y nos vuelven a inspirar una y otra vez.
Hello dear friends, a pleasure for me to write for this beautiful community and I do it joining the theme of @talentos this week, entitled moments that inspire, so today I want to talk a little of those wonderful memories that inspire us and that although it has been a long time since we lived them, they fill our lives with light, colour and lots of energy, remembering those moments is like reliving that story and they inspire us again and again.
Un recuerdo que siempre guardo en mi mente, porque fue una fuente de gran inspiración para mí, fue el momento en que mi padre tuvo que cerrar el negocio porque había quebrado, mi padre siempre fue un hombre muy trabajador, pero circunstancias ajenas a su voluntad como un robo y una mudanza, hicieron que mi padre cerrara el mayor sueño de su vida.
Mi padre era un hombre muy próspero y conocido por el éxito de sus negocios, pero el día que todo se vino abajo, fue un momento de gran inspiración que marco mi vida y puede sonar contradictorio, pero realmente lo es y les lo voy a contar por qué.
Después de que mi papá cerró su negocio, todos pensaron que se echaría a morir o que se quedaría de brazos cruzados ante tremendo fracaso, también pensaron que se hundiría en la tristeza y el desánimo, pero no fue así, mi papá literalmente resurgió de las cenizas para empezar de cero y empezar de nuevo a surgir.
A memory that I always keep in my mind, because it was a source of great inspiration for me, was the moment when my father had to close the business because it had gone bankrupt, my father was always a very hardworking man, but circumstances beyond his control such as a robbery and a move, made my father close the biggest dream of his life.
My father was a very prosperous man known for the success of his business, but the day it all went down, it was a moment of great inspiration that marked my life and it may sound contradictory, but it really is and I'm going to tell you why.
After my dad closed his business, everyone thought he would die or that he would just sit back and do nothing in the face of failure, they also thought he would sink into sadness and discouragement, but that was not the case, my dad literally rose from the ashes to start from scratch and start again to emerge.
Después de ese fracaso, mi papá comenzó a vender refrescos con hielo en las escuelas, luego vendió hallacas y café en las calles de manera ambulante y lo que más me llama la atención de este recuerdo es que mi papá nunca sintió vergüenza por ningún tipo de trabajo, ya que todos eran honrados, sino que buscó la manera honesta de ganarse la vida, además tenía mucho trabajo por hacer siempre con sus hallacas y comento esto porque hoy en día trabajos como vender café o limpiar un solar o una casa son mirados de forma despreciable.
Mi padre también hizo encendedores, tortas ,empanadas, y piedras de colores para vender, es decir siempre estaba inventando o creando algo, y aunque no siempre las cosas que hacia funcionaban él no se detenía y siempre buscaba muchas formas para poder suscistir.
Después de eso mi padre compró un carro de cepillado y empezó a criar animales, hoy en día mi padre vive en San Cristóbal, tiene su casa equipada, su bicicleta como medio de transporte y sigue con su carro de cepillado y criando animales, también tiene un trabajo en una escuela, pero a sus casi ochenta años mi padre sigue activo y es un hombre muy emprendedor, un hombre que no se detiene, si algo no le funciona, intenta con otra cosa.
After that failure, my father started selling soft drinks with ice in schools, then he sold hallacas and coffee in the streets in an itinerant way and what strikes me most about this memory is that my father never felt ashamed of any kind of work, since they were all honest, but he looked for an honest way to make a living, besides he always had a lot of work to do with his hallacas and I say this because nowadays jobs like selling coffee or cleaning a lot or a house are looked down upon.
My father also made lighters, cakes, empanadas, and coloured stones to sell, that is to say he was always inventing or creating something, and although the things he made didn't always work he didn't stop and always looked for many ways to make money.
After that my father bought a brushing cart and started to breed animals, today my father lives in San Cristóbal, he has his house equipped, his bicycle as a means of transport and he continues with his brushing cart and breeding animals, he also has a job in a school, but at almost eighty years old my father is still active and he is a very enterprising man, a man who does not stop, if something does not work for him, he tries something else.
Cada vez que se presenta una situación difícil en mi vida o tengo un fracaso en un proyecto, recuerdo la actitud de mi padre y ese momento en que aparentemente todo estaba perdido, recuerdo su capacidad de emprender y salir adelante y eso me motiva a no quedarme estancado y parada, sino que gracias a ese recuerdo pienso que siempre hay algo bueno que podemos hacer ante cualquier situacion o problema.
Every time a difficult situation arises in my life or I have a failure in a project, I remember my father's attitude and that moment when apparently everything was lost, I remember his ability to undertake and move forward and that motivates me not to remain stagnant and stopped, but thanks to that memory I think that there is always something good that we can do in any situation or problem.
