Wild and Woolly adventures

Howdy folks'.

Last week I got an invite to take part in a short story that made perfectly no sense at all.

So I jumped at the shot and wrote a line or two. You guessed it #snookmademedoit The title i was given was Wild and Woolly.

First thoughts. This is going to be about an unshaven sheep shooting up a ghost town in the wild west. Well, that was not to be, a different story got written. The story has three author's and as an add on gesture of fun, I suggested to have readers name who wrote each line. The three authors are Snook Enginewitty and myself The Hive

How I chose to do this is quite simple. Well, it is in my head. There does appear to have been some editing, on those lines I will award one point for an answer of either author.

A correct naming will get 2 points,
1 point if it was jointly wrote line.
The highest points got most right.

Seems logical eh?

Once upon a riverside, the greenest of meadows grew the greenest grass and the yellowest buttercup you ever did hear about. The Hive

It made your eyes weep to see such a sight when the moon was full of glow. Snook

On these nights, pixies could be seen harvesting the magic from midnight pollen. The Hive

The pollen was used to grow the Woolly and Wild leprechauns that ran through the forest free and clear. Snook

These slight chaps were not easy to see, Woolly was as quick as Wild was and Wild as Woolly as a Precambrian mammoth. The Hive Enginewitty

Wild and Woolly became fast friends in the forest of dark and light, never would you see one without the other to watch his back. Snook

Incomplete without each other, they were like two feet, more often two bloody left feet. The Hive

Tis sad but true, the pair could not walk far without falling down to the sadness of all the pixies. Snook

Now I am not one for the gossip and stuff, but on this particular day by the riverside an elephant showed up. The Hive Snook

This wasn’t an ordinary elephant by no means it was one with magic powers to set the stream green. Snook

Between the elephant wanting to reach the stream, the pixies harvesting the buttercups and both Woolly and Wild wanting to protect their rainbow moonshine, that can only brew with a full moon. The Hive

Just saying, if I was a damn turtle, I’d be hiding in my shell until the moon waned completely. Enginewitty

If you weren’t being stomped out by the elephants’ insane magical clodhoppers and enchanted by angry pixies, the Wild and Woolly together had tendencies that made them seem like baby butterflies. Snook Enginewitty

The moonlight had a strange effect on them. Snook

Like pouring salt on a slug, they got real ornery and shrively and just grumped at everything in their path. Enginewitty

Soon the moon was almost gone and the booze was nowhere done.Snook

WTF! Woolly, there’s still some shine left in yer jug, Ye ain’t got long to neck that down before the last rays of the moon be gone for another while yet.The Hive

Left foot before left foot they staggered off falling through bushes and into trees. I’ll be having a headache in the morning Wild one. The Hive

To which Wild One could only reply - Shut up. (don’t mention elephants to anyone) Enginewitty The Hive
