My mom told me to "not be too personal" and she's reading all my blog posts, so here we go...
The reason for being a little less active on here recently, is having family over in Portugal. My brother and his girlfriend, who do not necessarily like to be photographed, left a couple of days ago. It was nice to spend some time with them, after not having seen them since early January.
We went on a bunch of small trips together. Then, after they left, my parents and I ended up at my place, Monte Frio ( cold mountain ). My village has lived up to its name - it's far from warm here - but it's okay. Let's be honest, it's not that cold, just not very Summery.
Long story short, we're not doing much but my parents are over 65, so not doing much is fine too. As my mom will read this - like I mentioned earlier - I should be honest here. She's doing quite a lot, helping out in my house and all. It's merely my father who's not doing much, which is typical for him. And, being chronically ill, that's okay too.
What follows is a bunch of pictures with little text:
My brother and his girlfriend at the local waterfall ( Fraga da Pena ) that my parents and I hope to visit later today if the weather lets us:

My father taking a picture on the highest point of Portugal ( Torre, Serra da Estrela, 1993 meters ), while my brother clearly needs help

My father finally helping my brother out, after he's finished taking photographs:

My mom showing my dad ( who is smartphone less ) what pictures she has taken that day, while standing on my balcony.

My dad taking pictures, nearby the church that kept me awake at night for weeks ( after I bought this place, last year ). The recently installed double glazing sure makes a difference.

My mother taking picture of 'o por do sol' ( sunset ), trying to beat my sunset pictures.

My brother and I being our cool selves, not posing at all.

And here's a beautiful picture of my twin sister and her family. Credits for this one go to my brother's girlfriend, who takes awesome photos.

And then, when I was about to post this, someone knocked on my door. The two mattresses that I ordered weeks ago ( it was a hassle to get them delivered here ), finally arrived. My mom secretly took this picture of me carrying one of them from the delivery truck to my house.

So, if you were planning to visit me in the near future, just know that I have amazing new mattresses and that you're very welcome!
Bye for now e um grande abraço :>)
