"Show me a shadow", she says week after week.
How can I, there isn't any shadow surrounding me.
I live in the dark that's what my life looks like and it will always be.
Besides... it is grey outside and not even a sunbeam escorts me.
It's only pots and pills, water and jelly
what you find on my side table to get myself ready
to live a bit longer because of that brand new day
it started somewhere behind all the grey.
Although I stumble around in the darkness I am enjoying me.
No need to worry, there are no shadows chasing and I have my wifi.
This is all there is and as far as I can see
it's a pot and cup filled with my favorite Earl grey tea.
