What do you see?
A jar that is half empty or one that's half-filled? It doesn't matter as long as what it contains tastes good and it does.

I found this jar.
I have all kind of jars. A part I bought, some I found left on the ceiling of our new home, I reused jars I bought with peanut butter, applesauce, vegetables and chocolate and found a box with jars at the glass container.
I found this one and like the way it looks and am happy with it even I no longer set the table.
It's filled with mulberry jam. We have two trees and plenty of berries, good berries if we pick them in time. The picking is a nasty job. My hands turn red and it remains that way for weeks. If the children pick they wash their hands and it's gone.

The decoration is only on two sides.
I guess the rest is meant for a label with what it contains.
I use the lid for that. I can not reuse it anyway. I need a tool to open pots and bottles.

It's old, partly rusty and it looks as if something or someone bit on it. I cannot remember who did that but it looks like little teeth bites. Perhaps a dog?

Home made marmalade. I never thought this would be eaten. My children are not fond of marmalade. I guess taste changes through the years or perhaps they can no longer be picky if it comes to the food of their choice. I made it in June 2018.
This is my entry to @hearbeat1515's contest Photography with steem-bounty #5. This week's theme is jar.
