Grumpy's day.

How was your day?

It's what I ask my children daily. The youngest first because its home first. No matter if it goes by bike or I pick it up.
"Like usual", grumpy says, " boring".
" It can't be like usual since it is Monday hurray."
It is good to see it smile which it does too if I sing along (we rap) and say we can start our own band and let the bus-kid sing the refrain.

"How was your day?"
The bus-kids already waits for me. It sucks to wait in the cold till your mom picks you up.
"Better as expected."
"So was mine."
We drive back home where it it hopefully warm and grumpy waits for us. I warned the bus-kid which means more talking is needed.

What's the bad mood about?
The fact the youngest has to write down all the bad things about a history film they watched at school. Although the history teacher is boring and her teaching is too the film was great. There is nothing bad to mention about it.

End of the story... Grumpy had a happy day. It turned out it made the tests best of all kids and with best I mean way better about at least 18 points more. After that was said and done we ate and it started with making the homework. Sorry teacher, it will not look for something bad if it is good, there is no need to care any longer for a bad grade anyway.
