I have had it all.
A desk, a computer, a laptop, a terrible slow useless tablet and a calendar.
Not one but several. One at work on my desk, one at home for my business and the children's theirs and one for birthdays. Some were new years gifts others I bought.
Once I left school I thought I would never need one again. I bought a simple one and as the week was over I made those two pages black and glued some headlines out of the newspapers on it.
Once I started working I needed one to organize my life, child, work, etc. No matter what size it was always too small.
I still have a calendar.
Even two by now if I do not count the one in my phone.
One black one that goes from August till August (it is a school calendar and only hosted 1 euro it so) and another one that started this year. I did not really need that one. 🤔
A calendar is no good. If you start keeping one you keep writing and checking and this is all extra work. The fact is I seldom looked in it. Even not if it was right under my nose. I can remember what I need to remember and if it is not of my business (kids, school, etc) the children will tell me when it is time to...
This is my entry to the daily 5-minute freewrite see for the prompt @mariannewest.
Let's test if I can post this in the freewrite #hive-161155.
Facts:
- I did not subscribe to this community yet. I cannot load/sign in to beta.steemit.com
- I use @partiko because with this dapp I can choose my own first tag (@appics and @actifit do not allow that same with @dpoll)
- 🤔
I wonder what happens if I only use one tag and add the rest later.
