QOTW: What are your most important needs.

This week's question is: "What are your most important needs and are they being fulfilled?"

My first thought: A roof above my head, food and security.

It is what fosterparents in the Netherlands should provide in. The three "Bs".
Bed (bed), Brood (bread) and Bad (bath).
I assume those three Bs stand for that roof above your head/a home, food and health/care.

To me my own place, food and reserves (my own money = security) are basic needs. I fullfilled all of it.

Water ✔
Shelter ✔
Protection (emotional)
Safety ✔
Movement (no idea what it stands for)
Rest ✔
Sleep ✔
Touch
Sexual expression
Health ✔
Comfort
Warmth (living temperature +18°C ✔)

What of the list above do I have in real life?
Except for the sleep, rest, (both I need more) and health (is increasing) everything.
I do not care about sexual expression. I am fine with who I am,what I stand for and like.
If you ask me the list above is the biggest part of what the 3 Bs stand for.
"Comfort" is luxury and not a basic need. I live without tv, sofa, airconditioning, fridge, dishwasher, dryer, great car, holidays, etc. and debts.
I doubt if health is a basic need. A good health doesn't necessary stands for a better life.

Harmony
A part of this belongs to Physical well-being. To many these are the needed aspects to feel safe.

Peace = relaxation = similar to rest and it means being in balance with wholeness as a result.

So I go for:
Peace ✔

Power
This is a hard one. I never suffered from low self-esteem, I have confidence and my inner power is a hundred times better/stronger as my health.

I go for these three.
Self-esteem ✔
Confidence ✔
inner power ✔

I have it all and no one can take that away from me. They tried that for 28 years.

Autonomy
freedom ✔ is the most important thing to me.
Did I achieve that? No, I did not. A woman, wife, mother, employee, pet owner is never free but I try hard and will not give up on it.
The rest is a part of freedom (choice, space, time, independance).

Pleasure
If one in the list it is humor. People seem to have a lack of it these days but freedom, creativity, my own home and rest is pleasure to me too.

Connection
Communication ✔
"Being heard" is not the same as "being understood". Does that matter?.Being there for someone, no matter in which way, is more important if it comes to it.
Communication via letter, Whatsapp or... is fine with me.

Liveliness
To me it is freedom, my own roof, do, live as I like. If I need to pick something out of this list it is... Spontaneity.✔

Authenticity
It all sounds the same to me.
I choose self-expression since this is what freedom means and it's part of creativity.

Meaning
I have no idea what is meant with "meaning". What gives meaning to my life perhaps?
If so it is creativity .✔
Creativity in every way. No matter if it is about finding or creating a home, security, getting food on the table (the three Bs again), writing, painting, etc.

Love and attention.
I do no believe in love, it is a personal "need" that attracts us to someone, the reason we are friends or lovers or children.
acceptance ✔
trust ✔
respect ✔
support ✔ and
friendliness ✔ is what it is all about.

Did I achieve it?
I did. It is useless to stay in touch with people who can not accept you the way you are. If people accept you the rest is a piece of cake.
