Art explosion 68 "Parasites" Mutant Organism

The exploration spacecraft P.A.L manned by 8 soldiers, 3 engineers, 2 biologists besides the GINA AI, landed on the planet K-20171. A totally unknown planet but that like the earth has seas and vegetation, the mission of the crew was to look for life on this planet and to know if it was suitable or not for the human race to live there.

At 1425 hours the director of operations and biologist Miss Smer with her colleague, three soldiers and with the guidance of GINA decided to start the investigation and go to a cave complex where the GINA detected "life", the caves emitted an ambient light a little blue, due to microorganisms that emit toxic gases. The log showed that at 1533 hours the ship lost contact with this first research group and at 2217 hours a crew member sent a distress signal and from that last moment nothing was heard from the crew of the spaceship P.A.L. Everything related to this case is a complete mystery although the council is already discussing whether or not to send another ship to investigate what happened on that planet.

"9 HOURS BEFORE THE AUXILIARY SIGNAL".

In one of the underground caves the crew commanded by Smer found different organisms evolving among themselves and leaving mutations in a toxic environment by the gases, everything was a magical scenario but at the same time something terrifying, after a few minutes everything worsened when one of the biologists found biogenic substance coming out of the walls and when investigating this strange secretion was active adhering to the suit, while more struggled to take it off, this more clung. The rest of the group struggled to get it out until each one was wrapped in this viscosity and when catching this group of researchers they were incubated parasites inside causing these organisms to evolve in their bodies.

Upon completion of this process the group went to the ship where the rest of the crew ran with the same fate, Sergeant Kbir before suffering the mutation by the incubation of the parasites sent the distress signal to space.

Shit! This is exciting! Wow! by the step that went I never thought that this was not going to say this XD. This is my participation for the contest of @juliakponsford that deals with "Parasites". This time I could do it on time, it was a crazy week and with so many occupations but every day they thought and I said: "I have to do the drawing for Julia", "I have to do the drawing for Julia" at every moment Julia , Julia, Julia, Julia, for God's sake! I had a kind of obsession because I've tried in recent weeks, I do it but I'm late, I think it was also because of this topic that I wanted to do it early too.

Making this drawing took me around 2 days with a few hours of sleep, I was going to publish it last night at 3:00 am but Morfeo did his thing and I won the battle, because he was very weak. I woke up early like at 6:00 a.m. but the internet did not help anything. I spent hours trying to post and the Internet was over! Justly! Seriously? So I'm in Cyber publishing ;(.

When I learned about this topic, the first thing that came to my mind was a parasite with some fiction. I made 3 different versions but as it was already late I was left with the easiest one (the others I will complete in the future) For this sketch I did not make lines, I only drew spots to form the things and the parasite in question.

As I was progressing I was adding things or removing them to improve (according to me) things, I went for a space suit a bit more futuristic and not those that look like a marshmallow XD.!

This drawing is special because I made several new things that I had never done, one of them is the helmet glass, I spent a lot of time trying to make it look transparent. Even if you notice, I placed a reflection of the creature that attacks it and some brightness.

The suit and helmet are a bit bright, this was very fun. She was very large, so I narrowed it down and detailed the other things like the sticky substance that trapped her. I did not focus much on the face, that's something that had never happened XD, I only made it look like a face because of the transparency of the helmet.

I placed the parasites that clung and some slug secretion that it has in all the extremities, for the bottom I wanted to make a kind of cave but that had vegetation (so that I gave meaning to the story) and water, I did not want to make it so clear , since they are inside, so I went for a little more darkness and a bit of soft light something fog too.

For this work I was inspired by different things: movies like Alien, Venom, videogames and Wikipedia :P.
I did it in Photoshop with my Wacom tablet.
