Hello! how are you? Today I decided to create an illustration of one of the animals I most admire and respect "The Wolf", I love these beautiful animals, they are so cute! What attracts me most of them are their beautiful eyes, they melt me XD!!
Yesterday I was watching the movie The girl in the red cape and I think that influenced my decision to make a wolf besides I like them a lot, as I did not want to focus on a werewolf like in the movie, I was inclined to do a real wolf leaving fantasy aside. Look for some images on the Internet until I chose one that I ended up working with.
Step 1
I made a sketch not so detailed, but I tried to make lines a little thinner and not so much squiggles. The initial brush that I used was a round one that was hard edge but with transfer and some spacing. I only made thick stripes as if they were hairs, but nothing more than for a base.
Step 2
When I was almost ready, I realized that they were missing hair. Yes! But thin XD. I made a brush with 4 points and I made the hairs little by little. I think what I liked the most was the nose I used several brushes on it. For the background, hmmmmm I decided several things first an autumn tree with field blur, but then I decided on some leaves with the blur, to leave it as the main thing, as it appears in the photo :).
Finalized
After several layers of hair, for some endings of curves, colors and brightness, and I changed to little the color of the eyes, something blue with a little yellow.
