My Simple Spicy Tuna Pasta

Howdy Steemians! How are you all doing? Hope all is well. Today i'll be sharing a simple recipe, a dish i just made for the family. Actually , i was planning and craving to cook carbonara pasta, but then it end up with this Tuna pasta. I still have some left over pasta, last time i cooked Spaghetti , so i thought of cooking something else so it can be used. I then asked my husband to buy one important ingredient for the dish and he did. So i cooked , and here's how i did it.


Spicy Tuna Pasta

Ingredients

✓one 900g pack spaghetti

✓2 tablespoons oil

✓1 large red onion, sliced

✓8 cloves garlic, sliced

✓4 tomatoes, thinly sliced ( you can put more if you want)

✓ 2 150g canned tuna, hot and spicy

✓ 2 150g canned tuna flakes in oil

✓ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

✓ 1 teaspoon salt

✓ kangkong leaf for my trying hard design 😂

Procedure

✓Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain, and set aside.

✓In a large sauté pan over medium heat, heat oil. Add and sauté onion then garlic and tomatoes until softened.

✓Add both flavors of tuna ,season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 3 minutes.

✓Add cooked pasta and toss in tuna mixture ,mixed it so tuna sauce will be evenly distributed.

✓Ready and served. Enjoy eating!

There you have it my simple pasta recipe. If you notice that green long chili there, i was supposed to add it or use it for design but i forgot since i put it aside first, ( i think i have a little bit of a memory problem, LOL) . So in the end i did used a kangkong leaf for design , oha! creative! hahaha. Have a lovely time guys ❤️
