In Canada, a double double is generally the name you give to a coffee with 2 milk and 2 sugar. Maybe it is also a basketball game when you get double digits in in 2 categories (points/blocks/assists/rebounds) in a single game.
Well I found a new one this week. This can is full of all sorts of goodness including the profession of New England, IPA, Collective Arts, unfiltered, 8.2 % abv, and the awesome art work on the can as usual.
What makes it extra special is the fact that is is not only a Double IPA, but it is double dry-hopped as well! This means a good example of sport hopping a beer. Hazy and creamy and that subtle alcohol kick that almost tastes like dumping a half shot of cords in your beer (which I would recommend!)
This is going down nicely right this minute as I take some time to boot up @partiko (get it yourself here and I will get some more points! @zekepickleman/do-you-partiko-bro). Watching hockey and enjoying life with beer like a good Canadian!
This beer is a serious mouthful of barley and hops and hops and hops!
