This will be a combination with @qurator showing you Qurator's Photo Quest | Streets and my always amazing #wednesdaywalk hosted by no other then the awesome man who created #wednesdaywalk ...Mr @tattoodjay . I will be taking you to various location around Bangkok city.
Let's start of with the back streets of ChinaTown where normally alleyways , streets and main roads are buzzing with motorbikes like a Beehive but today you can hear a pin drop.
These main roads here in ChinaTown you normally cross at your own risk today i was standing in the middle of this main road to take this photo and looking down this road that building with the golden dome on top is where Hangover 2 the movie was partially filmed.
Walking away from ChinaTown heading towards more of the Thai suburban areas we see a bit more life , the happy street vendors selling to there local Thai people but still much quieter then normal.
Now i am in the main city center of Bangkok where Siam Paragon , Central World and Gaysorn mall are situated these are all the high end malls of Bangkok city and normally again in peak hour or at anytime of the day i should say , you would not be able to cross this road you wouldn't make it across the other side alive you must use the upper road level walkways to get over the other side safely.
The upper level walkways empty just unbelievable in all my visits to Bangkok city never have i seen it like this.
Some of the main roads leading you into the city center empty where are the humans gone 🙀
Sukhumvit Road !!
Sathorn Road that leads you into ChinaTown and the city center !!
Sathorn Road 8 pm at night normally very chaotic !!
The very popular nightlight district Nana where all the nightclubs , restaurants , beer bar and Gogo bars are found , all closed down this area never sleeps it's the party area of Bangkok but right now owners are loosing thousands of dollars per/day so sad to see.
By day a ghost town !!
A couple of street vendors is all you will see in the nightlife district at the moment.
By night the same a ghost town !!
