Tropical Storm Gordon Enters Dallas/Ft.Worth

The following pictures were taken last week in Dallas when Tropical Storm Gordon dumped many inches of much-needed rain on North Texas. This summer was dry and hot, as usual for this area. However, last week was especially wet, which was a little bit of a novelty after so many days of sunshine.

A rain pictures post has to have a rainbow, right?

Well, actually, there were two rainbows that day. (Yay!) This one came as a gift from the sunrise, and the rainbow in the first pic appeared during late afternoon.

With a sunrise like this to start the day, how can it start with anything other than a smile?

You know these guys love wet and rainy.

These car trouble guys on the left don't look like they are loving the wet and rainy as much as the mushrooms...
