Hey everyone, I am really loving this particular Road to SteemFest exercise and it is really getting me to think specifically about the people that I want to meet in Thailand. As the last 6 months for me has been extremely challenging personally and I have been away from the Steem community for that length of time if not a little more. Since the announcement of the Steem Fest dates, it has really been a driving force for me to get back into posting and also engaging with others though I am still trying to get up to speed on the reading and commenting on other people's post.
This being my second "Road to Steem Fest" post. I wrote earlier in my first "Road to Steem Fest" post about sorting out my top 3 priorities to get to Steem Fest that I had to think about and plan for! I am making some progress there as I have started putting together my budget, planning my work commitments...etc.

To start off, I am so looking forward to meeting everyone. Honestly I feel that if someone made an effort to be at SF4, in my books they are serious and committed to the community and Steem. But I also understand that 5 days is a very short time to really get to know everyone well. Hence, I decided that I would group together the people that I want to meet and hopefully it will happen.

First and foremost would be the awesome people who are part of the @steemitmamas community. I know that quite a few Mamas have decided that they will be at SteemFest. The list that I know at the moment is as follows:-
@mumma-monza
@misslasvegas
@anoux.nox
@elizacheng
@fitinfun
@kaerpediem
@travelgirl
I am planning to arrange for a special meet up with all the Mamas and I am hoping that they will all be able to make it. One of the things that I hope to do is to sit down at a nice coffee joint that is quiet and we can sip coffee and eat yummy cakes and even do a little shopping or pampering of ourselves. As mothers times that we can afford to do things like this are far and few in between. I also plan to gift each Mama who made it to Steem Fest with a little something - a little bag of treats to let them know that they are special. I am working on that at the moment and should have something ready by Steem Fest!

I would also like to meet another group of people who are part of the heart of the Steem ecosystem. Among them being:-
@anomadsoul - I really want to hear him tell his story of becoming nomadic and to hear how he sees himself in the future.
@blocktrades - First of all I really want to thank him for all the sponsorship and contest and delegations that he has given out to help people out. I want to chat with him and just know him better. Does he have a beautiful wife and kids, are they all blockchain and crypto crazy too? What books does he read? What's his favourite food? I hope that I have a chance to sit next to him at a SteemFest meal and chat!
@enginewitty and the others in the @thealliance family - It was one of the first few communities that I joined when I started on Steemit and they really helped me improve the quality of my postings and teaching me the ins and out of blogging on Steemit. Getting to the Castle was...phew! Hard but worth it!
@scrooger and the rest of the Qurator team - We met when he visit Malaysia some time ago and it would be lovely to meet with him again and catch up on all that he is doing. Qurator has also been a supporter of the small community of @steemitmamas. I imagine our catch up would be food hunting around Bangkok with the rest of the @teammalaysia members! Food, food, food and more food!
@aggroed and the team of Steemmonsters/Splinterlands and also other players as I have started playing again recently and hope to be able to learn a how to play better!
@nathanmars - because of him I tried vlogging! I would really love to meet someone who is so passionate about getting Steem awareness to the masses via other social media means.
@mcfarhat and the @actifit team as I have been using Actifit now to get fitter and healthier. This dApp has really helped me get back on my feet this year after a tough start.
I am from Malaysia and of course being Malaysian, I would love to meet all the members of Team Malaysia especially from East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak) that I have not met before. I am hoping to meet with @danieldoughty @viverridae @veenang @bboyady and have a heck of time painting Bangkok red with the other members of Team Malaysia like @bitrocker2020 @irenechew @kevinwong @joannewong @aaronleang @kaerpediem and all the other Malaysian who are going to be there. I am sure that I am missed mentioning some of you but if you are there in Bangkok I definitely want to meet up!
I know that most of the people I mentioned will be there at Steem Fest but for some of them I am unsure. So what I am going to do is to catch up with them on their postings and in discord if we are in the same groups. Lastly I do know that I am going to be doing a lot of photo taking! So I am going to have to prep for that! Camera/phone camera, stand, holder, extra disck space...etc. I am still wondering if I should just rely on my Huawei Mate 9 or should I bring a proper camera along? Decisions, decision...

Thanks again to @anomadsoul for The Road to Steem Festinitiative! It has been really fun to think about the people I want to meet. If you are heading to Steem Fest you got to take part in "The Road to Steem Fest" topics!
Thanks for dropping by my little space! Drop me a comment if you are heading over to Steem Fest! Just for fun I am giving away 1 SBI each to the first 5 people who are going to Steem Fest and comment on my post!
Xoxo,
Khim
