Awoke to a lovely morning yesterday. There seemed little reason to remain at Zwicker's Wharf other than the luxury of it all. Time to get back to the mooring for now. It was so calm that a solo cast off might be in order. It was a bit of a tight fit situated as Makina was at the very front of the line; however managed to squeeze out by the others to make a clean getaway.
There was a surprise waiting for me as Makina headed out to the mooring. There was another mule kickin' at my stall! Some pirate was on my mooring!
Called Doug from the Boat Locker. They are the folks that rented me the mooring. He explained that he had been off work yesterday and the staff assumed my number 3 was free as Makina was nowhere in sight; being docked at Zwicker's Wharf.
He said that the mooring hijacker should be on their way Thursday and that Makina can be moved over at that point. In the meantime he asked if I could take their number 10 mooring which was available. Sounded easy enough to me so spent the night moored to number 10.
No surprise that my evening consisted of snacking, napping and gaming. The end of a good day with the weather finally starting to turn towards summer.
