Repairs complete

Was up fairly early yesterday and took advantage of the facilities at the Wharf. That is, the showers and laundry.

Laundry Facilities at Zwicker's Wharf

Once the laundry was put away had a look over the swim platform and it quickly began to look like a two person operation. One had to line up the metal bars to their attachment brackets which took two hands. So had some coffee and waited for the office to open. After squaring up with them for another day at the wharf their help was requested in raising and lowering of the swim platform.

With the new Harbour Master candidate keeping the platform at different positions from on Makina's deck, the metal poles were easily attached from my position in the dinghy.

Mission accomplished! Two heads are better than one... sometimes. Much thanks to the future Harbour Master for his help!

It felt good to have that job out of the way. The berth at the wharf was still taken for another night as a treat to myself for a job well done. 😉

Fixed Swimming Platform

Dropped round the post office and my package was still not there. They suggested contacting Customer Service at this point. Added that to my TODO list.

The rest of the day and evening were fairly laid back with the normal relaxing activities of snacking, napping and gaming. With a good sleep behind me, from the medication the doctor at the hospital had given me, it will be back to the mooring ball a little later this morning.

May the wind be at your back!
