Einstein@Home is a citizen science project where volunteer crunchers sieve throw the data to find continuous gravitational waves (main search) and milliseconds pulsars (secondary search).
Data sources are:
- Nobel prize award winning LIGO research installation
- Arecibo radio observatory.
- Orbital PLANK gamma ray observatory.
Volunteers attach their CPU and GPU computational resources to Einstein@Home using BOINC program. One could also mine Gridcoin cryptocurrency while searching for GW and pulsars.
