This way.....
Each year our city hosts a light display at our Menominee Park.
This is the light covered, covered bridge.
It is a collaboration between city, local contractors and volunteers. They do a great job for a town our size.
You drive through the park, tune in your radio station as indicated and the light show is coordinated with the music. Nice concept. I am sure there are similar events elsewhere.
When we first started going with our children the fee was simply a canned food donation. Lets say 20 years ago. Then we took the grandchildren. It was $5 and a voluntary food donation. Lets say 8 years ago. We waited this year until we had a little snow, I think it was Dec. 28th, and Pops and I went by ourselves, again. And the entrance fee is $9, or $8 with a food donation. Ended up costing us about $14 if include donation.
But it didn't matter. We always enjoy. Here are a few displays along the way.
The pictures were difficult. You cannot get out of your car so did my best. Was also driving and taking the pictures. Some people weren't overly patient with us taking too long. Lol I hurried!
Hope you enjoyed. Thanks to @roxy-cat and @erikah for hosting Season Challenge.
