By organizing this #contest I wanted to contribute to the further development & growth of the #Steemit community!

I'm still not quitting on the idea of the #self-portrait #photo #contest so I decided to go with the 8th week!
Recently I've been inspired by @monochromes', @flamingirl's & @worldcapture's #photo #contests' rules so I decided to change mine - probably permanently - cause I would really like that this contest of mine goes on & on but with much more entries submitted than there were till now.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Be creative & make self-portraits not in that common way as the trendy "selfies" but in a high quality way partly describing yourself & your way of life. Every each of us has many different roles to play in life: worker, sportsman, soldier, writer, driver, lover, husband, father, wife, mother, artist, model, waitress, lawyer, dancer, actress, scientist, doctor, singer, musician, politician, manager, nurse, porn star, prostitute, gigolo, pimp... or some kind of an imaginary character - somebody who you would like to be... There is plenty of inspiration for the theme!
Nudes are also very appreciated & welcomed as well as the conceptual & art #photography.
#Photos can be full color, b&w & #monochrome tones.
How to apply for the #contest:
Use a #self-portrait tag as one of your tags in the post.
Clearly mention the #self-portrait photo contest in your post title or post body & tag me in your post - @careassaktart (As this will help to grow this contest). For example: "This is my entry for the #self-portrait photo contest by @careassaktart"
Ad a short story / explanation / description to the photo.
Your #self-portraits must be your original work as well as the text following! Stolen content will be immediately reported to @steemcleaners.

Other planets are also dancing around the Sun. Mercury is doing his pirouettes first. Around and with himself, around the axis is his practice... Merry-go-round the Sun, on his knees he prays, in an elliptic style so they say, or are they leading us astray?! Everything is possible! Believe it or not! It's up to You! Mercury is the black devil on Earth, leaving traces in many places...
Mercury is followed closely by Venus. Here, the Sun is milder and kinder, but she dances to his silent songs. He gives her the driving energy while she equally returns the favor. Although he sucks the Sun's power, he fertilizes her, keeping one part, and contributing the Universe with the other as a sacrifice for eternal peace. She's alone, but, being aware of the unity, actually never is (lonely)...
To Earth I came, some trillions of seconds ago which passed in the blink of an eye. Third stone from the cum. 'Scuse me, the Sun. Here, the Great Holy Spirit stopped and took all these shapes, breathing life into them. People like myself live here as well. They think they are so important, taking the right to cripple Mother Earth, to penetrate her womb, to kill living things, only to eat it... Yuk! But at the same time they forget who they are – nothing and nobody – a mere spark in an eternity, a timeless unity of everlastingness conceivable only by the soul. Apparently they are so smart, above all other forms brought to life by the Great Holy Spirit, including themselves.
I'm tired of this madness already. Mars blushed with shame, like a cherry. Perhaps he's covering his injuries. I parked my spaceship behind him. 'Til tomorrow, here I'll rest my limbs, to heal my wounds, so I can carry on, full power ahead, pushing pedals like a cadet, in a chain reaction to transfer my activity on a dual vessel of perfect polarity of one and only unity, just to dive deeper more consciously.
Since I'm not capable of leading my body through heavens above, a Balkan dude, in a working mood, made the Milky Way replica, so to walk on it I could. To find out what did the wise and educated taught, much longer then trillions of seconds, even though they could lie. Why would they lie?! Then again, why not?! Everything is possible! Believe it or not! It's up to You!
Space Travel is my multimedia project which appeared to me in the spring of 2014 when I came back from India & was visiting my friend in Zadar. I borrowed her bicycle & drove myself all the way to the interactive installation called "Greetings To The Sun" created by the Croatian architect Nikola Bašić... & then it struck me! Suddenly the words were coming to me - the words above - following the 2nd portrait - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars - out of the Space Travel series...
