I almost finished a new Shikishi with Washi tape 🌬️☁️🌟 You can win this original artwork at @leipzigerbuchmesse next week.
I can tell you, Washi and Shikishi is like a pair of unmatching chopsticks. The paper easily ripps off 👀 if you want to use Washi on this kind of surface you have to be sure where exactly you want to place it and best is to cut it in shape before adding it 😂 it's a little bit more work than usual but if you're careful and gentle it will look great as on any other paper. I hope after the convention I can finally finish the Washi tape tutorial. It's been some time since I managed to make a video for YouTube but convention prepping (books, prints etc.) had to come first.
