China's new social media craze - does Steem have the solution?

I stumbled upon an article today saying there's a new social media craze going on in China, users are using Tencent's WeChat to pay people to praise them on the internet. Apparently users are getting sick of all the hatred and trolling going on online so they are residing to buying praise to make up for the lack of it. Some people are getting paid $2-3 for 3-5 minutes of praising a person that is paying for it.

As we've come to learn by now, a lot of trolling/bullying and hate is going on online and it is near impossible to stop it. Content creators and streamers are usually the ones on the receiving end and even though they can mute and ban users but that only seems to fuel them more and creating new accounts is not of difficulty meaning these streamers have to constantly face the same situation daily and for hours. This naturally takes a toll on the users mental health no matter the level of harassment when it occurs on a frequent basis.

These "praising groups" may have started out because of the opposite "curse groups"' existence.

Now here on Steem you may have noticed that depending on the size of users accounts or the votes they can provide to commenters there can be a lot of fake praising and attention. Isn't it better to wade through fakeness than having to constantly read negative comments, though? Considering how accounts are created here and the cost of RC or Steem making it harder to just start fresh whenever you like it becomes harder and harder to become a troll and lash out to random users because of your own issues. This leads to accounts not wanting to risk their reputation and what they have achieved with their online persona so trolling and hate doesn't occur here as often. Not to mention everything stays forever on our blockchain, even edits.
