Happy SPUD 2020 everyone,
I just powered up 400 Steem to bring me up to 26 000 SP which I'm pretty happy with, and ties in nicely with my 2020 Steem Plans...
Keeping Writing
The basic goal is just to keep on writing on the various themes that interest me, although I might rebalance and start writing more about 'money saving and eco-villages' as that's where I'm hoping 2020 will take me. I would like to write more on the 'less is more' theme, but that sounds a bit silly>? Of course I'll keep up the running posts.
I might experiment with some videos - I recently found my 14/15 year old diaries, maybe I'll treat everyone to some readings - I could call it 'lessons from my teenage self' however I don't think that self had much to teach anyone: entertaining, yes, educational, probably not.
I'm not going to aim for a post a day, 3-4 a week, or every other day is what I'll aim for. I'll probably do more early on!
Curating/ Engaging
I've got a lot of people on autovote, and am quite happy with my 53% efficiency, but I'm sure I can tweak this an improve it a little. I might also look to do a little more manual upvoting.
I'm going to try and read and comment more, honest! I may as well, I have almost zero social interacting here in Hereford!
Some gaming
I'm sure I'll keep hammering away at @splinterlands, as playing for 15-20 mins a day really is a nice gap-filler after dinner. I might even get back into @nextcolony as I recently received a 130 Steem pay-out when @dachcolony won the first battle season, maybe this wasn't such a bad investment after all?!
Downvoting
I had taken myself off a couple of downvote trails, then I got downvoted by someone who they downvote regularly which was countered by @pharesim (as had happened eery time previously) so I thought WTF and added myself right back onto the DV trails.
Other
A push goal is still to learn some Python and do some stats related posts, but I've put that right back down my list, I'd rather be meditating!
A second push goal is to integrate the main blog with Steem somehow, but that's for later in the year when and if I've moved out of the country.
Investing
I suppose I've got to push myself in terms of Steem Power - my rewards for the last 30 days project me at 30K Steem for the end of 2020, so I guess I should push myself to 35K, or a 9K increase. Sounds fair.
I might end up buying more, I'll need to draw down some wealth at some point this year, and then I'll probably put a few hundred extra quid into steem, I still see Steem as a great investment.
