WIthin the weekly results posts of my #buildbetter contest, I don't get to take as much time as I would like to look deeper at the projects being nominated, this is because those posts already take a lot of time and effort just to review all of the entries, distribute the prizes and update all of the tables. So here I continue my series of What Projects are being Built on #STEEM, with Episode 2.
Our master list of projects being built on #STEEM continues to grow, although there are still what I consider to be large and well known projects missing. What we are getting is really interesting small and medium sized projects that are bootstrapping on #STEEM, and are worth taking a look at if you believe, as I do, that the future of this blockchain depends on what we build on it.

@cleanplanet - Cleaning the Planet with 'Proof of Human'
I wonder, for example, how many of you have heard of Clean Planet? This is a very interesting and compelling idea, especially for people like me who care deeply about changing the way we interact with our local environments on a global scale.
How can blockchain technology be leveraged to create meaningful change in the physical world? @cleanplanet is at the forefront of testing what is possible with their incentivized trash pick up initiative! They are currently experimenting with burning tokens and rewarding delegators - and seem eager for our support!

@radiosteemit - Radio Progamming and Support Community
@radiosteemit has a fun spanish radio community of sharing and caring - I enjoy listening to @radiosteemit on discord now when I am in the office! The best bilingual beats of any station I know, very fun music selection.
There are also participatory contests, so just by listening along, I have already been the recipient of some SPACO prizes! Because radio is about sharing information, these communities are better able to learn and stay on top of important information and, when necessary, adapt.

@hobo.media - Daily Decentralized Journalism Curation Contest
I consider contests to be a very meaningful way to interact with users through #STEEM, and here is a unique example of a contest type implementation! The HoboDAO awards both writers and curators (who submit the articles) in each contest with votes and a number of HBO and partner tokens.
With the #newsteem focus on curation, these sorts of unique initiatives are bound to unearth some exciting possibilities. I am all for experimental innovation, and HoboDAO takes decentralized content discovery in a new direction. I also like that they are already looking to attract content and curators from other publication type platforms, creating cross-over opportunities by building bridges.

Today I picked three neat examples - each using the #STEEM blockchain in their own way, and each very different in scope, scale as well as purpose. #STEEM is flexible and powerful infrastructure that we are all still experimenting with!
I look forward to finding, learning about, and supporting the best projects being built on STEEM through your recommendations:
I NEED YOUR HELP! Please remember to tell me and tell your friends to tell me which are the best and most promising projects, apps and communities being built on STEEM here.
