Even before my first Steemfest experience,
I was feeling the kindred power of this community.
I began blogging on Steemit in August 2016.
After only a few months on this platform,
it felt important to make it to Steemfest1,
so I decided to make it there with my art on Steemit.
I posted about my desire to make it to Amsterdam for this event,
and immediately @opheliafu and @richardkrill stepped up to help me.
And then more people came out of the woodwork, donating rewards to me,
making posts in my honor, and participating in my collaborations.
I was dumbfounded by all the community support to help a stranger.
These were people I had never met from far corners of the world,
yet they were doing something just to help me from the kindness of their hearts.
Many people wished they were raising the funds for themselves to go,
but even though they weren't able to make it themselves, they supported me anyway!
This was just the beginning of the out pouring of love
that I would experience from this community.
Actually being at Steemfest1 (Amsterdam) and Steemfest2 (Lisbon, Portugal)
solidified my awareness that these people are my people.
It was like a big family reunion, coming together for common purpose.
FAST FORWARD TO NOW!
We again have an amazing opportunity to connect with each other!
A gathering of some very powerful Steemians will be taking place,
and I, for one, am not going to miss it!

of presenters for this three-day event.
It is designed to enhance the experience on Steem(it) for everyone.
We will share tips, tricks, insights, experiences, expertise and wisdom.
We will share hugs, laughter, moments of connection, memories and power.
I will be sharing my experience here on Steemit as an artist
and the potential for "success" by following one's passion on this platform.
I'll be sharing some Steemit art and other creative possibilities too.
I will also be in on the "Athena Collective" with 4 other powerful women: @ogc, @coruscate, @lindseylambz, @saramiller, and the Manly Goddess IJ (@steemcafe), to bring forth some energy toward recognizing and expanding the power of women and what they have to bring to Steem(it) and beyond. Oh yeah!!!! We're doin' it!
Here's a MEGA BONUS - @quinneaker will be giving a keynote presentation at the conference. Quinn has a huge presence here on Steemit, is an incredible leader in the community, and has great insight on the ins-and-outs of how to alchemize every situation into a beneficial one. He has a gift of communication and sharing simple solutions that can be easily accessed by inquiring minds. This is a primo opportunity to get some straight-forward understanding for yourself.
