Slipping some more

I would love to say that the current price of steem does not worry me, and for the most part that is true. But, because I know running nodes and running witness servers which are essential are not cheap, seeing us slip a little further does leave me a bit uncomfortable.

Truth is, the hype we've been riding on has been mainly focalized in Korean exchanges, and it's mostly based on wallets being reopened it seems, not a change of sentiment in the markets so to speak.

That being said, because I know the level of commitment that the witnesses of this blockchain have, I'm fully convinced that even if the prices dropped further, a way to keep the lights on would be found. I'm personally prepared to pitch in fiat if need be to keep @helpie signing blocks, but sincerely hope it does not come down to it.

I've been picking up some steem on the way down, on this particular way down, that is, and it seems that volume is dropping off, but we could go lower, I fully expect that to happen if I'm to be honest.

But, not to leave anyone with a bitter taste, the cheaper prices always have a silver lining. If you stay active, if you continue to add value, you are likely to accumulate a lot more aggressively at times like this.

Ah, and don't forget to have fun too...

Much love
