This sports court recently got a facelift with an intricate mural from an artist whose work i'm sure i've seen before though i can't quite put my finger on exactly who it is.
The mural is nature orientated with each wall symbolising a particular biome including ocean, jungle, mountainous and savannah pieces and wildlife ranging from bears, parrots, lions, tigers and a red cardinal all of which is quite ironic as it sits in a housing estate that was once the biggest in Europe and is often referred as a concrete jungle.
The mural itself is in rather stark contrast to its surroundings as the surrounding buildings are in the middle of being demolished with only a handful of residents remaining, though it is good to see some colour in an otherwise drab and depressing backdrop.
