Today I'm going to show you another one of my characters from The Inexplicit project (made by my friend and colleague Rossy and me). The girl called Briana is actually not from the original story, more like a side story/project. We created several different stories/worlds alongside the main one - each with it's main and secondary characters. .
The whole story develops on an alternative planet where magic is widespread, but the world is divided into different factions, the largest of which is under the guidance of a mighty magician (our main character, Eos, who was created and drawn by Rossy). One of his generals (my character named Rean and Briana's twin brother) was killed in battle, but in his last moment he asks the leader and only friend Eos to take care of his sister.
You may guess right - the adventure of Eos is yet to come. .
Briana is an incredibly cheerful young woman. In the first sketches I made, wanted to show that the fluffy and sweet look completely reflects her soul. Her appearance has always created uncertainty in her, at least until Eos appeared. XD
It turns out to be its full opposite.
Here's a pencil sketch I did back in 2011.
Couple of years later made a digital portrait of her.
It's relatively simple and don't have lot works in progress.
Started with the face and neck. The plump nose was a mistake, but later decided to keep it - she's not perfect, you know...
Next was the hair. Added some basic hair strands with the default round brush from Photoshop.
And the finished version. Her hair is much longer in the story, but she tie it up in a thick braid.
She looks so happy, maybe because Eos is near, hehe...
