Hello there friends!!! 😁
This is my thirtieth post about the Urban Sketchers of Medellín, this session was at Taller Talante.
Last saturday we went to this house/shop in the municipality of Envigado, southern part of Aburrá's Valley. It was a long ride in the metro to reach there, 12 stations to be more precise, I boarded at station Universidad, you can see the schematic map of the metro here bellow.

So Taller Talante is both a family home and a business shop for design, stationery and printing, they're most famous for their drawing notebooks, which are made by hand in traditional way and apparently sells very well in the circle of artists and designers of Medellín.

The couple that run the shop showed us their home and the equipements they use for the trade, really amazing that one of the machines they use is way beyond the 50 years old. After that I started to search a place with a great view I could draw, however nothing really inspired me, so decided to go to the convenience store in the opposite corner of the street and buy myself a beer and something to eat cause I was really hungry haha.
There I found that some fellow sketchers were already stationed in the corner for a really nice view of the house, however I preferred drawing them instead haha, BTW that same day was the birthday of Naty, a fellow sketcher and made her a present by drawing her right there, you can see later bellow in the post the drawing ⭐️.
Then after quenching my thirst for... drawing people hehe, I returned to the Shop and went to the rooftop to draw the corner where my friends were hehe, after that there was still time for another drawing so made a sketch of Amelia, the toddler daughter of the Shop owners and course gifted them the drawing afterwards 😁👍.
