Winners Music & New call for the eighth Lyrical Poetry Contest

Dear Friends

Winners Music

February is a month marked by love, friendship and music, so it is propitious to express our feelings in the form of poetry. For this we have the blessing of being users of a platform of last generation as it is steemit that allows us to share our most intimate thoughts with our friends.

Attending the call to the contest of Music - Lyric poetry SBI contest Edition Number 7, in which my friends @charjaim, @rosanita, @sacra97, @marybellrg, @lanzjoseg and @mllg participated. They have shared their sympathetic expressions about the music that make it difficult to make a decision regarding the winner. All are winners but the jackpot is only for one of them. Additionally, the runner up and the special mentions have been chosen.

This is a participation of the winners for the contest.

Lyrical poetry contest - Freedom

Throughout history mankind has gone after the dream of achieving freedom, however, this precious good is truncated by the weaknesses and evils of man and his rulers who misuse this treasure.

To communicate the expressions of freedom, man has used different ways such as laws, literature and art. Considering that each of us has a perception of what freedom represents, it is appropriate to express it through lyric poetry.

Now in this opportunity I have to refer my friends a new call for the lyrical poetry contest in its eighth edition with the keyword "freedom".

In previous contests we had the participation of friends @simonjay, @vdux, @antoniarhuiz, @marybellrg, @charjaim, @inspiracion, @doctorlibro, @rosanita, @sacra97, @oscarina, @janettyanez, @javert68justice, @aremontilla, @lanzjoseg and @mllg to whom I extend this new invitation. If you prefer not to be tagged in the next call post, please let me know!

Invitations

I invite my friends @jayna, @salvao, @creatr, @lydon.sipe and @amart29 to participate in a special way and also all the people who are motivated to write about what freedom represents in their lives.

My contribution

Reflecting on the theme of this new call to contest I leave my contribution:

God has given us a treasure as freedom is.
From unattached children we enjoy him.
As adults, society guides us towards its direction.

But always in our hearts is the breath of freedom.
We overcome the highest barriers by chasing her.
What would be of our life if we did not have freedom?
