Happy Sunday and new week,as we are preparing to go to His sanctuary,i will need to talk on what i titled "Secret of prosperity".
It is really sadden to read and see Christians, especially believers suffering, begging for alms and in want in the midst of plenty. Phil 4:19,"But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Yet,many wonder where the source of their suffering come from. After all,the Bible confirms our prosperity as Christians, then why are we still swimming in poverty.
Prosperity can be said to be the state of being successful, well being, having good fortune and happiness in life. Prosperity is God's promise, and not against the will of God. Zech 1:17 says,"My kingdom through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad."
It is interesting to let you know that, there are some hidden criteria that leads to prosperity which many ignore. Many think it is not of necessity, some even said,"These things are just human knowledge, and not really from God." they also went to the extent of saying predestination is the ultimate, they also mean that you cannot work for prosperity. It is of a truth that God is the only one that maketh rich without adding sorrow, and it is also of a sincerity that God does not just make rich unless you deserve and work for it. Prosperity does not come through what you've not done, but through what you've done.
It is very important to let you know that prosperity is not a respecter of prayer and fasting,it comes through by "INSTRUCTION."
I will be using Peter as an example. Peter was on the water fishing, and it was very sad and unfortunate for him that he caught nothing that particular night until the following morning when he had a personal encounter with the God of prosperity. He said in a simple instruction"launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." Luke 5:4. It was recorded that he did this without complaining. By mere reasoning of man, there is possibilty for us to say it was too simple, but the Bible says immediately he did this, his net was filled with multitude of fishes. Which means prosperity has to do with OBEDIENCE.
Furthermore,Malachi 3:10 says "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house and prove me(note the word PROVE)if i would not open the windows of heaven and pour down blessings that there shall not be room enough to receive it." It is unfortunate that some pay an instalmental tithe, some pay only half of the real tithe, many doesn't pay at all simply because it is substantial, tithe paid in an incomplete form can lock up your outstanding blessing and leave you in poverty, because you've proved to be a robber. I don't use to pay tithe before but thanks to my Sister that told me if i want God to meet all my needs and continue to bless me,i should be paying tithes,i adhere to this and up till now,i pay my tithes and thank God am seeing His works in my life.
Offering is another important point to consider. Many find it difficult to give offering, they murmur immediately it's offering time. God isn't interested in your money but your thanksgiving after He has provided for you. Develop the attitude of giving offering, make it a point of duty. Try God with this if He would not cause the rain of blessing to fall on you.
Nothing goes for nothing and nothing comes in except something goes out. God's law of harvest says in Luke 6:38 "Give and it shall be given unto you."
Many do this and see no reward because they give amiss. You do not have to sow on a desolate ground, sow on a fertile land, where it will germinate and bring forth fruits. Try this and you will have a multitudes in return.
Quit poverty,be determined to be prosperous,do not delay. What you can do now is the only influence you have for your future,do not postpone what you can do today till tomorrow,it might not come, you do not realise what you are missing until you do the original. Adhere to instruction given to you by God and also by His anointed(pastors, evangelist, prophets etc).
Then I pray whatsoever you lay your hands on shall be prosperous this week in Jesus name. Amen
