Yesterday actually marked the 110th day since the establishment of Steemchurch Ghana(@sc-g). Steemchurch is indeed paving a way for many activities that will impact lives in Ghana. Since the establishment of the church in Ghana, we have not had the chance of meeting together and spending quality time as church.
The Lord through His countless mercies made it possible for us to meet yesterday. This was at no other place but one of the beautiful places located in Kumasi Ghana.
To the glory of God we had a successful meetup yesterday. We would like to use this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the great leader and mentor whose benevolent act and selflessness has made the establishment of the church in Ghana possible. God bless you @sirknight
To our wonderful Apostles and parishioners and those have supported and made steemchurch what it is today.. we say "Ayekoo" meaning well done.
Today we share with you the highlights our meetup:
Why We met:
To Advise and Encourage One Another
God is first in everything and without Him we cannot do anything. Knowing Him more and serving Him well was our priority for the meetup. We will not just end up being publishers of the Gospel on the blockchain and then miss our way to the Holy Place(Heaven) when the master appears. There is need for us to meet from time to time to exhort, advise and encourage each other to continue working on our own salvation with fear and trembling.
To Know Ourselves Better
Steemit unlike Facebook and other social media platforms a times makes it hard to know a fellow steemian or have an adequate information about the person you are dealing with. We needed to know all the parishioners at sc-g who have been making great contents to help build up the body of Christ. Some parishioners couldn't make it due to several reasons but we were so blessed to have had the presence of @odsam2 @bigssam @collinz @anaman, @Johnsonkoranteng, @nattybongo, and @amalgloria the only lady who was in our midst. For some of us this was the first time we saw some parishioners like @johnsonkoranteng, @nattybongo and @amagloria in person
To Discuss How We Can Also Support the Steemchurch
The current state of steemit has made it very difficult to have active steemians who are very consistent and committed to making daily contributions to the platform.
Steemchurch has indeed proven beyond reasonable doubt that it knows no bound and it is committed to giving liberty to all Christians here on the steemit blockchain. The first church of the blocakchain has been supportive, educative and helpful to all Christians and it continues to do so each day.
For steemchurch to continue in this regard there is need for all to support it in any way we can to sustain it.
How can we also support the steemchurch?
This was another important agenda for the meetup and we were so glad about the wonderful opinions parishioners put across. God willing we will be sharing them all with our brethrens in the various branches of the steemchurch.
Members of the Steemchurch Ghana had a great time during the meetup. We had a chance of visiting places of interest at the mall after the meetup, a memorable moments we believe everyone will forever cherished.
