Pico-8 or Pico8 is a fantasy console by for creating and sharing tiny games,

Multi-platform: works on PCs, Mac, even Raspberry Pi.
The console runs on 128x128 pixel, 16 color display, and can develop and run cartridges up to 32kb.
The harsh limitations of PICO-8 are chosen carefully to be fun to work with.
Sprite, Sound &Map editors: so you can make your game easily.
Publish you games on cartridges which are special *.png image files.
It's cheap to buy: it also comes free with Pocket C.H.I.P.
