Today we are introducing the new feature - Boost HUNT. You can convert the STU rewards from your hunt post to HUNT tokens. We also want to share our strategies to create the value of HUNT token.
1. HUNT Token = Your Geek Capita
Product early adopters have higher enthusiasm to discover/discuss cool new products. Their geeky passion becomes the most important steering power for innovative products to boost their launching hype. We call it Geek Capita, and our goal is to turn it into value exchange via HUNT tokens.
Our mission for HUNT token is to transfer the intangible and non-quantitative resources from product geeks to the tangible and quantitative assets that makers/companies can utilise.
We are highly confident that this mission can change the entire tech product marketing scene. As of this moment, it has not been properly formed as a market, and is highly dominated by several communities and crowdfunding players. HUNT project will be the first blockchain-powered token economy to make a real impact on the product market.
2. What is Boost HUNT?
When you submit your hunt post on Steemhunt.com, you can switch on the Boost HUNT. When you turn on the switch, the entire STU rewards from the post will be converted to the value of the HUNT tokens.
Process
- Switch on the Boost HUNT
- All your author rewards from the hunt post will be sent to the Steemhunt fund and swapped for HUNT tokens.
- The boost reward payout will happen at 6am KST the day after the 7-day active period is finished.
- The price of HUNT will be calculated dynamically based on the demands (please check the below paragraph to learn more).
Dynamic Pricing
The converting price will be decided dynamically based on the market demands. In other words, the HUNT price will be increased when hunters try more. This is how we determine the HUNT price:
- The initial price has been determined based on the amount of HUNT bounties toward any transactional relations to the STU over the 7 months operations (SP delegations, votings, etc.).
- The current price is decided dynamically based on an average price from the past 7 days STU-HUNT swap transactions. In other words, the price you see now will be constantly changing because it is calculated based on the average of the past 7 days.
Benefits
- The HUNT boosted posts will have a special character that dances around on the tile of the post, to bring more attention to the chart.
- The more the hunter converts to HUNT tokens, the more his/her user score will be increased.
The convert HUNT feature is live from today (The bounty rewards for shuffle button will be reduced by 1/10).
